Lib Dem Voice has invited party presidential hopefuls Chandila Fernando, Lembit Opik and Ros Scott to make their pitches for how they’d improve Lib Dem membership. In a series of articles, they will set out their ambitions and how they would deliver on them.
You can find out more about how to vote in the election for party president here.
Elsewhere on this site, Mark Pack has recently argued why fears of decline in membership for all political parties may have been over-hyped.

Having three articles with the same name will be great fun!
I have also wrote a post about how I would improve Lib Dem membership!
When is the closing date for this election?
I had to look up the answer, but: it’s 5th Nov. when the ballot closes, and 8th Nov. when the count happens.
Irfa makes an affinity deal suggestion for memebrship – you would expect this to work, but checkout the conservative party website – they have masses of deals but, I doubt if it significant for them
Irfan – sorry for the typo
The Party already has a range of affinity schemes, which you can see here:

I very much doubt that a single person has joined the Conservative Party because of their discount schemes, though
I’m holding on to my ballot paper until the Yorkshire and Humber regional conference on November 1st, when all the candidates will be husting. My vote’s still to play for on the day, if anyone’s interested?
Membership? It’s impressive isn’t it – THREE Candidates for President and none of them have a clue!
