Those canvassed must have felt like they were in the Christmas movie ‘Love Actually’, where Hugh Grant, as Prime Minister, knocks on lots of doors.

He also stood up to an overbearing US President in the film. Maybe those hoping to fill the position should give it a watch over the festive season.

“Tactical voting, we are in favour,
providing it is understood that THE TACTIC IS TO VOTE FOR US.”
Lib Dem campaign manager 1992 general election.
Hugh Grant’s objective is to stop the Tories having a majority in the Commons.
He has also campaigned with other/s who oppose the Tories.
