Take a look at this. I think that the best that can be said is that the information provided about each person is a little, shall we say, sparse?
And it says something interesting about the priorities in Labour HQ that this person has far more information given about them đ

Also, Tony Blair’s still down as an MP đ
It is also quite difficult to find anything from the Labour site. A while ago I wanted to know who’s their candidate in a certain constituency, but I couldn’t find neither a list of candidates, nor a list of local parties. I don’t believe that many others can.
I know because I work in public affairs that Labour keeps its PPC list secret, unlike the two other main parties, which make information about their PPCs and their contact details publicly available. Labour is by far the least e-savvy party.
Perhaps they have figured out, that it is wisest to keep their candidates secret as long as possible, before other parties can dig out all the dirt they have been involved.
“Tony Blairâs still down as an MP”
They also have Clare Short as a Labour MP
… (comment 4), that is most probably the case, but it’s hardly in keeping with the openness of the internet. In fact it’s highly indicative of their general approach to things: the words secrecy and control come to mind.
It’s because they sell information like details about their MPs and local parties, so they can’t give away too much information for free. Profits come before providing the public with information.
