++Lib Dems to publish election manifesto front page tonight

At one minute past midnight tonight, the Liberal Democrats will publish the front page of their 2015 election manifesto, outlining their main priorities for governing the UK.

This is a great move by the party, capturing the voter’s attention with our main focus areas, up-front in the campaign.

We’ll carry the full details here on Liberal Democrat Voice from one minute past midnight tonight.

  • Surely it’s better to publish them before the deadline for newspapers to go to print? If you want them to be on the front page, of course.

This has the potential to go wrong, if as in the past the party’s main policy areas seem to exclude a lot of people.

I’ll try to provide a fair and constructive response.

    Defence at 2.0% of GDP…?

Maybe inside, but surely not on the front page?

I know you have a special interest in ‘defence’ Jedi but out of (genuine) interest what would you spend it on – say your top 5-10 priorities (Lightsabres for all servicemen and women excepted).

Would be surprised if they didn’t get embargoed copies (even though front pages/early editions come out before it ends…but that’ll be expected…). If they don’t, that’ll be an oversight…

I look forward to seeing the party capture the voters’ attention.

  • If what I’ve seen is correct then I am pretty pleased.
