More from the hall

Two more our of frontbenchers’ speeches for your delectation.

  • I’m sorry, but why was my last comment inexplicably wiped?

The point being David Laws is a number crunching spod incapable of dealing with people on a human level.

Whilst his speech writer did a decent enough job with this effort i can guarantee that Laws support for Academies coems from a fundamental lack of understanding of the negative impact of such institutions. They do not serve the poorest and most needy (those Laws professes to care about) but simply marginalise them

Also if i have to hear about ‘choice’ one more time i will explode – a complete and utter load of bumpf and revealing David as completely unaware of the interests of most parents.

The guy is not a talent and not right for the portfolio
