The party’s started a new service to advertise in advance major appearances in the media by Liberal Democrat MPs and other senior figures. We’ll be advertising in advance set-piece interviews, appearances on panel shows like Any Questions? and similar.
The service is being run through FlockTogether. You can subscribe to the service either by:
- Using this feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/LiberalDemocratsMediaAppearances or
- By email: register at FlockTogether and pick “Media appearances” as one of the categories of events you want to be emailed about. (If you are an existing FlockTogether user you can also change your preferences – login and then click “Edit your preferences” in the left-hand menu; you need to tick “Media Appearances” under “Email options”)

What about capturing all of these programmes where there is NOT a Lib Dem present, so we can contact the broadcaster to complain?
The level of Lib Dem presence on programmes like Any Questions seems to have reduced dramatically. It seems that more often than not there is no Lib Dem presence.
