Great to know the leader is listening. 🙂 Excellent work Nick!
Can we ban Nick from ever again using that horrible phrase “have a national debate”? It is True New Labour and like most newspeak tends to mean the exact opposite.
Growth, yes.
But what sort of growth? Growth financed by excessive consumer credit and flogging ever more expensive housing to each other is what got us here. Growth kick-started by the same, will perpetuate the structural problems in the economy.
The question is, how do we get growth based on sound money and actual production? Nobody is talking the right solutions yet… it is too painful in the short-medium term, therefore politically unpalatable.
Vince called the problem, but I don’t see proper solutions.
I’m sorry to have to say this, but at 4:22 I was only listening to it and he sounded *exactly* like Cameron.
