Well, for the pest control guy, “Physician, heal thyself!”
We have one big pest with mysterious yellow hair small and fat cos it has eaten/drinks too much . It scurries around like a weasil and has babies who it then forgets where they are We could also do with security camera to find out where it is so that it can be controlled. We have traced it to a house ,number 10, but it keeps running away.
No doubt these people are about as successful with their efforts as the Liberal Democrat publicity operation during this election since, with sixed days to go, we appear to have been wiped off the BBC (and most other mainstream TV) completely! Have the people running our operation gone on holiday, or are they just no good at their job?

Yes . It has been a poor campaign. Sliding down in the polls means we are not newsworthy enough,we have been squeezed Johnson and his Brexit has been the problem whilst attacking Corbyn obsessed us.Fine but we should have also campaigned on the reason that people voted leave,low wages lack of housing ,poor voting system etc.Their is a LOT wrong with the country. Not seeing the underlying problems and just saying the problem was Brexit gave Corbyn his chance. The last socially aware Leader was Kennedy He was human (drinking problem) and was popular. When you sit in your Ivory Tower (LIB Dem CLUB building) thinking you know better than the members,ignoring them you pay the consequences,loss of power,influence etc.

We have been sliding in The Polls since early October, well before The Campaign began. We seem to have levelled out over the last Fortnight, that suggests that our campaign has been at least a partial sucsess.
Our biggest problem is that The Media/Commentariat have collectively decided that we arent News, theres a lot of prejudice in that but I suspect that it is mostly just Fashion & as inexplicable as any other.
One big thing that helps our Enemies (who are Legion) is our willingness to caro about each other at the drop of almost anything.
Mere weeks ago, we were promised hundreds of seats at the GE, Swinson for P.M etc. Cold reality has now intruded. What is going on is a classic third party squeeze! And we are no longer in numerical terms the third party, which is why SNP gets the slot on Beeb and elsewhere.

Its not inexplicable. We arent making ourselves newsworthy. Its not up to the media to do our job for us.
Hmmm … Mark is going to have some difficulty fashioning a response from this thread.
The reply Mark should say is ” Wots it worth”. When the media come looking for a story be picky who you choose, BBC turn up smile and use C4. Laura turns up smile and use her underling. When they need friends smile and say to late go talk to those you boosted. If they feel there are no consequences they will continue to ignore you. Let them feel the pain and they will, no friends of ours so no friends should we be to them. They have enabled the school of fools, so if the BBC and co fail to make it through tough it was what you enabled.
The fact that there has been whinging about our campaign newspapers shows the Liberal Democrats are having some success. Create and print then put them through the letterboxes. Make our own media.
Make our own media (paper) and put it thru the letter box. YES! Say quarterly stating LIBDEM news and advertising our policies etc. YES, I know that news is moving onto the internet. NEW EUROPEAN is both a paper and on internet It is possible.

Back to the subject of the article! Clearly those two misguided enquirers were seeking to plant commercial material on this site; one issue that occurs is to wonder how much success they have elsewhere.
There are issues about pest control and cctv, but not as they see them.
How safe are the chemicals used? How does ‘controlling’ pests affect the ecosystem?
How does cctv infringe of privacy – which is partly a matter of preference, but may have major practical issues? Who safeguards the pictures which are raw data which can be analysed for good or ill?
