Report: LibDems take one of the Tories only two seats in Sheffield.
Rumours that we’ve held Newcastle and Chesterfield.
UPDATE: Rumours of three gains from the Tories in West Dorset and gains from both the Tories and Labour possible in Mid Sussex. Expect LibDems to hold Vale of White Horse.

Not forgetting 3 gains from Labour in Sheffield, taking the council to NOC.
38 out of 48 seats in Chesterfield in Paul Holmes’ once rock solid Labour seat. I dont have the share of the vote but it must be 60% plus.
I make it 58.4% 🙂
The result in Sheffield was spectacular – in particular in Nick Clegg’s new Hallam constituency, where all five seats were won by over 1,000 votes.
Rest assured, Sheffield will be a Tory-free zone this time next year!
Speaking personally, I was the agent for a ward where we overturned a Labour majority of 215 to win by nearly 500, so I couldn’t be more chuffed.
A year’s hard work totally worthwhile!
Held Chesterfield? We made gains as well, on the previous all time best!
That would be 4 gains in West Dorset.
