Vince Cable’s autobiography – title confirmed?

After the stunning success of his guide to the economic crisis – The Storm has been a top 10 bestseller since its release – Vince Cable’s autobiography is set to be published this autumn. And if you believe the Hickey column in the Express (and who wouldn’t?) the tome now has a title: The Free Radical. Nothing on Amazon yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

By the way, if you haven’t read The Storm yet, it’s available now for just £6.74 with free P&P: click this link, and you’ll even earn the Lib Dems a little commission.

I hope it has a chapter or more on his time at the Commonwealth Secretariat. That should be interesting.

  • Personally I’m amazed that he and all these other politicians can find the time to write so many books.

Yes, Shirley Williams autobiography “Climbing the bookshelves” is coming out in September. You can order it on Amazon.

  • I heard him on desert island discs and was quite moved by what I heard. This is a must get.

So while Cable has all this time to write books, newspaper columns, do nationwide personal tours…who is actually looking after my interests at Westminster? He obviously doesn’t have the time. Must be time for a regime change and to vote in someone who’s no. 1 priority is his/her constituents-not lining their own pockets to top up the extortionate pension they’ll be paid by us anyway.

Nice enough bloke, but all this book writing and his ‘Evenings with Vince’ obviously have no left him with enough time to kick his rabble of a Liberal Council into shape. You are not listening to your voters which is a shame.

@James Graham – We’ll quite happily accept a donation for use of the Free Radical brand!
