Paul Trollope has been slaving over a hot Risograph to deliver some fliers for Lib Dem Voice – no glossy corporate stuff here – if you’d be willing to give half an hour to stand outside the conference centre and push them in to the willing hands of delegates in the last couple of days, please do contact me.
Also, I think the thread on the 50p tax rate and the Meeting the Challenge post have both been helpful ‘warm runs’ of the debate that will occur in Brighton. If the web site has informed your thinking, please consider mentioning www.libdemvoice.org from the podium – the more Lib Dems come on board, the better this site will be.
Just a reminder for those who are not attending conference – Alex Foster and I will be Podcasting regular audio updates from Brighton, and all and sundry who are attending conference are welcome to submit a piece to Lib Dem Voice to give those who can’t attend a flavour of what’s going on. Time to start washing clothes, so I can pack them while they’re still wet tomorrow… (that’s my first annual conference ritual – the second one is turning up to the hotel to find they’ve lost my booking)

Rob,
I’m hoping to get some equipment to the bloggers reception that will let you vidcast!

Alex’s podcast is very good.
Shame about the jute bags though.
I thought the idea was that you got one at conference and were then duty bound to wear it out at by-elections before you’d be allowed in to the next conference;-)
Should I embarass you Rob by quoting back your views on podcasting when I first tried to persuade you it was a good idea 🙂
Zeal of the convert and all that I see! (And I guess you must have been the person to do the first podcast of the leader of a UK political party when you did the Charles Kennedy podcasts?)
Go away. I’ve never liked you. 😉
Rob (initially a fierce Podcast sceptic)
If I do forget my sense of humour, can I get a replacement at registration?
Will: I think you’ll find the sense of humour replacement policy is outlined in full on page 7 of the Directory. If conference is to provide unlimited free senses of humour the party will soon be bankrupt. If you feel the policy should be amended you are welcome to submit a motion to a future conference
