It’s like Lib Dem Christmas this weekend, with Eurovision and a National Day of campaigning to stay in the EU.

  • Looking at the voting patterns for Eurovision last night I got the sense that although we are no longer hated by a lot of the countries involved, as we were in the aftermath of the Iraq war and Blair’s poodle approach to Bush, we do so badly because we have no regional alliances (which is fine) and we are regarded by most counties as being of little significance. Perhaps a foretaste of how we might be regarded in the event of Brexit?
