In Scotland, we didn’t take the national PPB because it is important to get our message across that we are the only party in Scotland fighting for Scotland to stay in the UK and the EU. Watch Willie Rennie explain why:

TAM. On the subject of Scottish politics, it should be said that Scotland has lost a great man of real integrity and courage with the death this week of Tam Dalyell, the former MP for West Lothian.
Over thirty years ago, I admired Tam’s tenacious questioning of Margaret Thatcher on the sinking of the Belgrano during the Falklands War. I’m convinced he was right – and Thatcher knew it.
Years later I got to know him when we were both patients in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. It was tough going for both of us, but he was a delight to be with, to talk politics and every subject under the sun. He was personally kind and generous and helped me to keep going at a pretty scary time. He respected radical Liberalism – and I can see why West Lothian loved him.
Others will talk of his political campaigning and political courage. His autobiography, “The Importance of Being Awkward” should be compulsory reading for all politicians. For me, it would be remiss not to mark the passing of a great and good man. I salute you dear Tam.
