“New websites put Welsh Lib Dems at forefront of web campaigning” screams the headline on Wales Online. Not bad coverage for the launch of a website, albeit one using the new .wales and .cymru domain names.
Kirsty Williams is quoted as saying:
Combining our strong record of delivery from Westminster and the Welsh Assembly with our vision for Wales gives us a strong message to take to the people of Wales at the next elections.
“Time and time again, polls and papers have written off the Liberal Democrats and consigned us to extinction yet time and time again, Liberal Democrats have bounced back and confounded all expectations.
Our website launch today shows just how committed we are to the fight over the next 100 days, and how determined the Welsh Lib Dems are to win the support of the people of Wales.
If you want to have a look at the shiny new Welsh Liberal Democrats websites, you can do so here.

Excuse me? 4% is the European elections is bouncing back from extinction?
This sort of claim is one reason why I do not for all her personal qualities, I do not rate Kirsty very highly as a leader.
Kirsty didn’t make it into the Western Mail’s 50 top Welsh politicians.

That top 50 list is beyond hilarious.
Not as awful as the Lib Dem national website. 100 days, 40 seats, 20 candidates. Not much chance of repeating he success of 1906 or 1945
The article reads as an advert, was it? I have to admit as someone who has lived in Wales 30 years, I’d never heard of Wales Online.
