It is certainly true that community politics is insufficient for long term gain. That was my experience in 13 yrs as a councillor and still active locally; at o...

Splendid stuff, well done Yorkists! 'The New Deal' seems a great idea in itself. Your graphic shows, however, how much work will need to be done to assert ourse...

Just a quick response to Kira Collins' comment. An article on LDV is limited to around 750 words, so there's a lot more in the 20-page 'New Deal' paper. And tha...

Probably launch of Trident white paper which, rumour has it, has been brought forward.
“Probably launch of Trident…”
At whom?
Boom! Boom!
Oh, sorry, that’s not appropriate in this context…
There are only four things I can think of: Blair resigns, pull back from Iraq, Trident, or new nuclear power stations. I doubt it’s either of the first two, so it must be some sort of nuclear announcement, civil or military.
How about Blair interviewed by police?
“How about Blair interviewed by police?”
They’d want to bury that, not clear the decks for it!!!
Trident policy launched on day Blair questioned by police?
Clear decks for first, refer second to press officer with phone constantly engaged?
where does this come from?
Doesn’t feature on any other web sites

Blair is planning his JFK moment 🙂

Either that or they’ll spike John Stevens’s guns (his Diana report is due on Dec 14th) by revealing it was Peter Mandelson in the white Fiat Uno as we suspected all along….
The Guardian today says it’s for the launch of the Trident White Paper and ensuing consultation.
What a convenient day it would be for Blair to be interviewed by police!
Blair resignation and timetable for leadership contest?
Sorry, the last post was just wishful thinking….
