Well, sort of.
He tried to sign up to a news website the other night and this is what happened:
There was a certain irony given that this was the same day that he had slated abusive shockblog Wings over Scotland for its abusive and profane petition about Gordon Brown.

Amusing, but given LDV’s hypersensitive nasty-filter, perhaps a little too close to home?
I dunno, David-1, I’ve often accused people of willy-waving on here. OfC I quite often have to take such accusations to my own blog… 😉
Rennies. Pills for the form of political emission which is euphemistically described as “hot air”. He’ll just have to change that name…
Reminds me of a Better Together photo op in 2012. They’d got Liberal Youth out to come and take photos holding up the big letters. With the other parties they’d got the group to say their leaders’ names instead of “Cheese!” That works fine with Labour and the Tories, but we were killing ourselves laughing because we just yelled Willie: https://www.facebook.com/LYScotland/photos/a.10150698774068888.401965.128924913887/10151379711618888/?type=3&theater
From the Holyrood report of the speech of Jackson Carlaw (Tory) on 25th November:
“I conclude with a final observation about gender balance, which has been mentioned several times this afternoon. In a back-handed compliment to that huge Hollywood blockbuster “Three Men and a Little Lady”, this Parliament is now fronted by three ladies and a little Willie … Rennie. [Laughter.] ”
Willie Rennie could change his name to “Wullie” which is the correct spelling for the way the name is pronounced in East Fife and points north, but being known as “Oor Wullie” might not engender the gravitas required of a senior politico.
