Still no comment on Dame Laura Cox’s report on the behaviour of MPs and senior officials of the House of Commons despite a call for the resignation of the main one. I wonder why.

I suspect (and it’s only a suspicion) that the reason for the absence of a press release is that this isn’t seen as party political. Now, you might argue that the way Parliamentarians treat staff, whether their own or those of Parliament, is political, but I would suggest that it is less likely to be properly addressed if individual politicians feel it necessary to defend their own.
