Is there not an LGBT+ manifesto this time?

  • Not that I could see.

I don’t think it is a good idea to release a BME manifesto without a women’s manifesto. I am sure I saw a women’s manifesto somewhere?

I am also surprised by the absence of a business manifesto. The main manifesto doesn’t have a business section either. I am actually surprised by how little the party seems to have changed since 2010. Is there anything the leaders can do to let business know that the party is on our side?

@Eddie, surely if Lib Dems Women wanted a mini manifesto they’d get one? If they decided against, does that mean the party should have scrapped a BAME manifesto? And what about the disabled manifesto, should that be axed too?

Gosh Lester, I’m just saying from the perspective of voters it doesn’t look good if some underrepresented groups have their own manifesto and others don’t. I’m not arguing against BAME policies.

Richard – LGBT+ are working on a policy guide rather than a separate LGBT+ manifesto, as we’d like to highlight the things that are party policy that didn’t make it into the main manifesto.
