This technical argument about guarantees is very dull and has gone on too long . . .
Well said Simon, let’s get a sense of proportion . . .
Lynne looks great. I love the glasses but she needs some jewellery round her neck . . .
This Simon bloke seems to know what he’s talking about . . .
Yes, well that’s the problem with the system. Everyone has to justify their pay to the higher level, until you get to the board and then everyone is just swapping large cheques with each other. We need some serious proposals from Vince to deal with this.
Well done Harriet for sweeping Alan into the pedal bin . . .
Harriet for Prime Minister. Obviously!
We do. Everything Nick said in his speech about bonuses and fat cats was all very well, but not backed up by a policy motion that I noticed.
Sorry, I’m not actually watching the programme. I just wanted to vary the appearance of the thread a bit 😀
Ian is a bit of a bore really . . .
Now Harriet is being boring . . .
Dimbleby doesn’t help with his pedantic pressing of the point . . .
She usually is.
I like her.
Oh yes, Michael Meacher would be great, for reasons of nostalgia maybe . . .
Tony Blair was not a bad PM. Apart from Iraq, he did OK.
Gordon Brown just can’t go on. Are Labour really saying it’s Brown until 2015? Because that’s the implication if Brown is to fight a 2010 election. It’s unthinkable.
Over on BBC2 we’ve stormed to victory in Frank Luntz’s focus group.
God knows what Sesenco will make of that 🙂
Alan was right there. Brown has just pissed off so many people with his bullying.
With hair like that, you don’t deserve a vote . . .
“Newsnight predict Lib Dem landslide” anyone?
We’ve already got a de facto UK President. We should make it official.
Yes, Palin has been a huge shot in the arm for the Republicans . . .
I saw this on the news. Harriet is going to be in trouble for backing the Democrats. But what the hell? She’s just stating the blindingly obvious.
What on earth is wrong with character politics? I want characters. Characters with ideas. I want leaders I can relate to.
Too complacent Alan. We’re catching religion from America big time . . .
Good effort Lynne . . . don’t go on too long . . .
We should follow the Conservatives on inheritance tax. But if we keep dissing their policy, it’s going to make it that much harder.
Thanks for the invite Alan. But no thanks.
Oh dear. Sensible Simon is dissing us now a bit . . . before backing our tax cutting agenda . . .
Wow! An endorsement from Ian!
Don’t heckle Lynne . . .
Vince Cable next week and the listening woman, Hazel Blears.
Well that was pretty boring. It’s a good job I’m so good looking, or this thread would be a bit of an eyesore . . .
Littlewood is now on QT extra, with Isaby.
Labour always wheel out Blears when things are terrible.
And Vince is on This Week.
Littlewood thinks Brown should go international. I should think that’s the last thing the rest of the world needs . . .
Thought Lynne wasn’t great tonight- is it just me?
No she was pretty good.
I rather enjoyed ian hislop’s demolition of harriet harman (who deserved it), and his bit to help us along too.
Hi
I’m going to get a new wheels. Wish to have an up market one, but don’t know for sure what to choose… Can somebody advise me something?
