Congratulations to Willie Rennie in regaining NE Fife for the Lib Dems.
I’ve been watching the results live on the BBC in Thailand, where I now live, and I was delighted to see the NE Fife result. I was happy to be one of the many voters who originally turned the constituency away from the Tories and to the Libs (and to the greatly respected Menzies Campbell).
Willie Rennie was the ONLY representative member of the Scottish, UK and European parliaments to whom I wrote some time ago who, not only responded, but managed to obtain a written response to my concern at the time from HM Treasury.
    Well done Willie!
