It’s Thursday night, so this means we’re awaiting by-election results with bated breath.
Liberal Democrats were hopeful of a gain in the Aylsham ward of Broadlands Council in Norfolk – and they did it!
Aylsham (Broadland) result:
LDEM: 48.0% (+17.1)
CON: 37.9% (+5.5)

A Labour vote well squeezed.
