Lib Dem Voice has been going for coming up to six months now, and while visitor numbers are growing all the time, quantity isn’t the same as quality.
About 75% of visitors to Liberal Democrat Voice come back more than once, but I’d like to take this moment to encourage people to come forward with suggestions for how the site can better serve the Lib Dem community.
What do you like? What don’t you like? What should we do more of, and will you volunteer to be the pair of hands that does it?
It’s open house… the comment boxes await…

Hi Rob
Thanks for opening this out.
We do need to build up more ‘collective effort’ blog spaces, without losing the individual flavours of personal blogs. The blogroll can be a bit intimidating especially with numerous postings, and for some people commenting on an individuals blogspace may feel too much like personal comment. A common space might encourage debate.
Maybe we could revive an idea briefly active earlier in LibDem blogs and have a books or live articles review section. That could draw in the passing trade, as it were. And yes I might be temted to be one of the pair of hands involved on this.
Will think more on your questions…

Hi Rob
I think the idea of picking up topical debates as you have done with Trident and inviting articles/comments is a good idea. It is quite time consuming if you are looking to read blogs/comments on particular issues and I find I often miss stuff. So perhaps this could be linked with personal blogs on the topics. You are the techno wizkid so do you know of a way that links could be generated by keywords for example? And maybe readers could suggest topics? For example I am very keen to get more of a debate going on diversity in the party and it would certainly be far more effective it it linked in with a LibDem Voice Campaign.
PS: I particularly appreciate having all the key news stories, links, information etc. in one place. When you don’t have much time it is very handy.
