Typical FibDems. Claiming credit for what the Labour party has achieved in Scotland. The worst departments have been headed by Liberal ministers. Currently Enterprise and Transport.
I’d be quite happy to have a minority administration in May and really put your “principles” to the test instead of hiding behind Labour achievements.
Goodness me, a comment from a whole constituency Labour party. It must have been really crowded at the keyboard 🙂
Well they have been losing members fast……..
Beat me to the quip…
A regional constituency party. Even more crowded 🙂
Does anyone fancy a bet on how many Scottish New Labour Councillors lose their seats and how many Scottish Councils they’ll control on the 4th of May?
I reckon -240 and they’ll control 1 out of our 32 councils outright.
“I reckon -240 and they’ll control 1 out of our 32 councils outright”
Your predictions are similar to Labour Party NEC expectations: 40% of their councillors lost (since they’ve around 498 councillors, it means 200 losses) and 1 or 2 councils controlled
It’s a fairly meaningless calculation as one election is by FPTP and one by STV though! Even if things stayed the same they’d suffer pretty big losses.
What’s the betting the TV don’t bother to report it accurately.
I wouldn’t get too excited about your prospects against Labour if this example of ‘incisive’ questioning by the ‘Shadow Scottish Secretary’ is anything to go by.

Have Labour taken a look closer to home before commenting on others?
