As we reported in February:
A hip-hop musical based on Nick Clegg’s role in forming the Coalition government is to be staged later this year.
The show (working title: “Nicked”) also features David Cameron in a “rap-off” with his backbenchers as well as the student demonstrations and the run-up to the AV referendum.
Here’s a preview of one of the numbers: Tinderbox, featuring “Nick Clegg” and “David Cameron” singing about AV. (Don’t miss “Ed Miliband” beatboxing in the background.)

Weird…very weird. But also very clever.
Pretty bad. Chap playing Cameron looks more like David Laws – ironic that Red Ed is the best part!
Anyone have any idea where it is showing? and when?
Had a quick google, but nothing was obvious.
very good indeed!
I personally think the actors for NC and DC are the wrong way around – the hair colour doesn’t match!
Absolutely brilliant. Actors aren’t a perfect fit but who cares?
J, they’re apparently doing a “workshop production” this coming Thursday at the Criterion Theatre in London at 1.30. You need to tweet @NickedMusical to get a ticket. (cf. https://twitter.com/#!/nickedmusical)
Not affiliated in any way but certainly intrigued!
This was strangely quite good. I am not sure that it will be a massive hit but there is something there that people might enjoy
