Both would loudly decry “dumbing down”, but are beneficiaries & symptoms of that phenomenon.
Neither posesses the ability to get anywhere in a sophisticated, discerning population, which is why both instinctively fear & hate science & education in general.
Both are mindlessly deified by hacks like Iain Dale, not because of any actual values they hold or positive achievements they could make, rather because they represent tokenism & gesture politics.
why let either of them feel that their reactionary nonsense matters? ignore.
