I’ve just finished a great day campaigning in Liverpool, Glasgow and London. Everywhere I go, and especially in our key seats, it is obvious our support is growing by the day.
Volunteers are walking in off the streets to offer to deliver leaflets, knock on doors and make phone calls – doing their bit to make change happen.
Experienced campaigners across the country are telling me this is an election like never before for our party. The old rules have been torn up and we are rewriting the election script.
Everybody knows it has been an amazing campaign for us. We have blown open our political system for good. Those that doubted us have been proven wrong and those that said it couldn’t be done have fallen silent.
And that is why our opponents will do anything and say anything to stop us. But we mustn’t let them blow us off course – we must keep making the argument that only we will bring about fair taxes, a fair start for every child, a green and sustainable economy and clean politics.
In 36 hours time the polling stations will be open and the people will have their say. With your continued hard work I know the British people will support us in record numbers and help us change our country for good.
I wish you all the best of luck – keep campaigning right up to the last minute!

“It is obvious our support is growing by the day.”
Obvious to everyone except most polling companies that is.
Jim, look at the the last 20 polls, the variations in support go well beyond random variation. The reason is that different companies have differing ideas about, for example what to do with “Dont knows”. This is a new political landscape & the polling companies are as lost as the rest of us. 1 in every 3 voters dont know themselves how they will vote yet, its fanciful to beleive the polls can predict the result, all we can do is campaign. I am off to do just that.
I’m pretty sure most local parties and campaigns will report an increase in the number of people volunteering to help us win around the country. Even if we’re not increasing our lead following the debate leap, we’re getting more supporters turning into activists, and that can only be a good thing.
