Well fancy that! Another unreported poll finding

Continuing my occasional series of opinion poll results that newspapers have paid for but then not published (all for reasons of space you understand, nothing to do with editorial lines and not liking the result, oh no of course not) we have the latest YouGov poll for The Sun:

Do you think the following will or will not happen if the Conservatives win the coming election?

The number of crimes committed each year will fall: 22% will, 47% will not – net -25%
The quality of education in state schools will improve: 25% will, 46% will not – net -21%
Britain’s economy will grow stronger: 32% will, 36% will not – net -4%

  • Did they ask about if Lab or Lib Dems come to power?
How do the answers equate to voting intentions?
Wouldn’t be surprised if it just reflected voting intentions,
although I also wouldn’t be surprised if Mr Murdoch suppressed this response if it didn’t.
This comment is not much use either way without the answers to the above.

  • Just had time to crunch the numbers. This question does just fit the voting intentions, except that more Lib Dem seem uncertain about which way the economy will go. Ergo, it wasn’t published because it didn’t say anything more than the voting intentions did. Dear Mark, do some research rather than just pontificating, but thanks for putting up the link. At least it enabled me to do the work you couldn’t be bothered to.
