Two ways to follow the Lib Dem conference (apart from on LDV, of course)

Those of you who can’t make it to Bournemouth will still be able to follow proceedings as they happen, rather than as the media decides to report them, in two ways:

BBC Parliament – there will be full conference coverage for you to watch: click here to find out more.

BBC2’s The Daily Politics – if you’re happy enough with highlights, Andrew Neill’s show is back on air after the summer break on Monday with the Lib Dem conference. Highlights, the producers tell us, include:

* On Monday we launch Andrew Neil’s Daily Politics Blog and morning email. You can sign up through the website: bbc.co.uk/dailypolitics
* The Daily Politics has new titles and look.
* We have some interesting polling on the Lib Dems and tax. We’ll release for Monday at 12pm.
* Mark Littlewood has made a film for Monday’s programme arguing Nick Clegg has underestimated David Cameron and the Lib Dems face losing many seats.

Full schedule as follows:

Monday 15th: Daily Politics Conference Special 12:00-13:00 BBC Two; Today at Conference 23:20-23:50, BBC Two
Tuesday 16th: Daily Politics Conference Special 12:00-13:00 BBC Two; Today at Conference 23:20-23:50, BBC Two
Wednesday 17th: Daily Politics Conference Special 11:00-12:50 BBC Two; Today at Conference 23:20-23:50 BBC Two

Well Mark Littlewood never was much of a psephologist. I remember him telling me ever so convincingly back in about 1994 that we were going to pick up seats in places like Barking & Dagenham 🙄
