Liberal Democrat blogger Mark Thompson has launched a new site, Lib Dem TV:
On it I intend to put up any interviews or other sorts of footage involving Lib Dem members and candidates that I can generate. I am also happy to post any relevant footage from other Lib Dem activists that might be of interest more widely.
You can see Lib Dem TV here.

Thanks for the plug Mark!
In addition to the various things I have planned, I already have a couple of other Lib Dem activists who have suggested video they could generate and contribute. We should see the fruits of this starting in the next few days.
I am keen to hear from anyone else though ([email protected])
I should also reiterate that it doesn’t just have to be interviews. I will consider any Lib Dem related video content.
Cheers
I hope this comment goes thru as I am 78 yr lady and still learning computer. What do you mean by “Website”? I have a large Democratic family and extended family. If all of us haven’t been able to support the party monetarily, certainly support with our votes.Naturally I am hoping health care passes but people having to wait four years to keep from dying due to lack of care is unnecessary and cruel. Michael Moore has it right. The big money flow to politics has to stop.Even unfortunaly to Dem. taking money.Maybe the U.S. has figured a way to get rid of seriously ill people without Ins. to die within four yrs. Why is it that in any kind of poll referring to humanity, the U.S. is near last or last. Again, (money) I know the answer-Taxes-Taxes-more important than lives and quality of life. I have never been so discouraged in my life. My Husband died in 06 and he was so patriotic-losing a bro. in New Guinea WWII. Sincerely,Betty McKenzie
I will consider any Lib Dem related video content:
Excellent. How about the following video of three Lib Dem MPs, reported to be Bob Russell, Phil Willis and John Leach, repeatedly yelling “Sean Connery” over the top of Angus Robertson’s question at yesterday’s PMQs?

Or do you only consider videos that aren’t utterly disgraceful?
Iain,
I thought that behaviour was pathetic and tweeted about it at the time:

I hate the way all parties behave at PMQs and have blogged about it on numerous occasions. If I had my way, any heckling at all would result in the MP being ejected from the chamber. The behaviour should be the sort you would expect at a typical business meeting as far as I am concerned and it falls way, way short of that.
Shame this new site is choosing to exclude people who prefer not to use proprietary software, rather than using the cross-platform, free and inclusive Cortado for its video display.
Is it just my browser (Firefox) or has something gone wrong with the colour scheme? The site is almost totally blue. – not just the header but also the background in Martin Tod’s video. Can you fix it please?
David.
I’ve just checked it on Firefox and Chrome and it seems fine on mine. Martin’s background had a slightly blue hue but I think that was just the lighting in his office and the rest of the blog apart from the header is white or light grey.
Can you try it again?
Mark.
I guess the problem is that I can’t understand why a Lib Dem web site should be using blue as the main colour, when that’s been the Conservative colour for all my political life.
As for Martin’s video, perhaps he’d set the camera’s colour balance for ‘indoor lighting’ when it was actually fluorescent.
