15% swing from Conservatives to Lib Dem in last by-election before May 3rd

The Chingford Green by-election (London Borough of Waltham Forest) took place last night:

Conservative 1694 (55.2; -14.8)
Lib Dem  Graham Woolnough 1022 (33.3; +14.3)
Labour 208 (6.8; -4.2)
UKIP 143 (4.7; +4.7).
Majority 672
Turnout 38.5%
Conservative hold
Swing: 15% Conservative to Liberal Democrat

    Still, a healthy majority for the Conservatives. Given the ammount of work the Lib Dems put into the campaign, it should have been closer.

    I think One-Horse is trying to pay us a compliment. He’s saying that given the amount of work we put in, we deserved more than a 15% swing. Thanks, One-Horse!
