It is extremely important that documents from the police security team at high-risk terrorist targets are kept fully confidential, unless they are about an MP you do not like, in which case they must be leaked in full to the press, no questions asked.

  • If you publicly accuse someone of lying, they should be able to produce evidence to protect themselves.
    Even if you are a high and mighty chief whip and the accused is a lowly frontline policewoman.
    She has to demonstrate she is honest to keep her job.
    Evidently there is no such requirement for politicians.
