Opinion: The Lib Dems are now the only party of science

Not that the press seem to have noticed, but international science journal Nature has just reported that one of the 22 prominent scientists who put his name to a letter to the Independent may not vote for them. Why is this relevant?

Opinion: The opposite of a heated debate

For four years now I’ve steered clear of blogs and online forums. If you look at the kind of people who seem to spend their time posting at the bottom of the BBC websites, you’ll perhaps share my sense that those are the places where the freaks hang out.
