And to you too, Sir Ed, get well soon. Seasonal greetings also to my ‘friends’ on LDV like David Raw and Barry Lofty. It’s nice to know that there are a few people of liberal persuasion out there, who actually agree with some of the stuff I write. Above all, thanks to the Editors, those hardworking unpaid servants of democracy, for keeping me and other embittered old so and so’s in order and bringing me down to earth. As Elvis sang, when my fingers are hovering over my iPad, “You were always on my mind”. And, let’s hear it for the “Flood Warning”. I still don’t know how some contributors get away with it!

So, to all those connected with LDV, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, HEALTHY and Successful New Year and, in the words of The Sussex’s, “Happy Holidays”.🤠

  • Best Wishes to you and your family also Sir Ed, and look forward to more success for the party in the New Year. I hope you are recovering after being infected with the dreaded virus!!
