Never have “Journalists” wasted so much metaphorical ink.
We already know the Results of the General Election – a Labour Landslide, 1997 +
The interesting question is whether The Libdems get more MPs than The Tories ( possible but unlikely) & whether The Greens get another MP or two.
I’m hoping for Labour as the largest party, but around 30 seats short of a majority, LDs & SNP on 50 or so each.
@Paul Barker
I think the more realistic question is whether the Liberal Democrats will be able to overtake the SNP in 2024 to become the 3rd largest party. If the SNP does not recover from its current poor polling (about 35%), and goes on to lose 20+ MPs, the Liberal Democrats have a real chance of doing it.
