    Well said Anthony

Some of us having been pressing the issue of getting more people (particularly young people) registered for some time. We have been pressing the Cabinet Office, the Electoral Commission and working with @BiteTheBallot and others to improve the system and promote how to register before the deadline of midnight tomorrow.

We have had some success as in the last seven days, some 593,234 applications to register to vote have made, and 365,073 of them have been from people under 35.

Full details of how the registration process is going are available here: https://www.gov.uk/performance/register-to-vote

Hopefully all Lib Dem members and supporters have reminded about the deadline for registering to vote, if they are not already registered, and urged to do all that they can to make sure that (young) people in their household are registered and that the message about the midnight (tomorrow) deadline is pushed in all social media forums. I have been doing my bit on my Chris Rennard Facebook page and my twitter account @LordRennard if anyone wants to share/re-tweet etc.
