In the next month 29 seats will short-list their wannabe Lib Dem MPs

Lib Dems winning hereHere’s the full list of selection contests in the coming month available for Lib Dems on the approved parliamentary candidates’ list, together with the closing date for applications. They include five of the seats on the party’s top 50 target list: Newport East, Totnes, Bristol North West, Bristol South, and Chelmsford.

The following seats have selections in progress and are currently advertising for candidates:

      Totnes, 28th February
      East Devon, 7th March
      Oldham West & Royton, 7th March
      Tunbridge Wells, 7th March
      Bristol East, 14th March
      Bristol North West, 14th March
      Bristol South, 14th March
      Exeter, 14th March
      Workington, 14th March
      Southend West, 15th March
      East Kilbride, Strathaven & Lesmahagow, 17th March
      Glasgow Central, 17th March
      Glasgow East, 17th March
      Glasgow North, 17th March
      Glasgow North East, 17th March
      Glasgow North West, 17th March
      Glasgow South, 17th March
      Glasgow South West, 17th March
      Rutherglen and Hamilton West, 17th March
      South Suffolk, 17th March
      Chelmsford, 21st March
      North Thanet, 21st March
      Skipton & Ripon, 31st March

    In addition, Aberdeenshire West is selecting a candidate for the Scottish Parliament (7th March).
