As the BBC reports:
The former model and singer Sam Fox challenged foreign office minster Jeremy Browne on the Daily Politics about tiger farms in China which she wants to see closed. Mr Browne told her that he would raise the matter with the Chinese. Fewer than 3,500 tigers remain in the wild around the world.

A farm which increased its population from 60 tigers to 1,500? That’s fantastic: if the tiger can be successfully farmed, it’ll never go extinct. I’d like to see a simmiliar policy for other endagered species: in this country, Grouce has been rescued from the endangered list by game farms. Starving the tigers to death though, is appauling: they must get rid of the legislation which makes it illegal to take them to slaughterhouses in order to bring it into line with the animal welfare standards we have in cattle farming.
