This is a particularly clever nailing of the Donald Trump style. It comes from the Tampa Bay Times, was written by Terry Vaught of Dover, Florida, USA and tweeted by TBT reporter Mark Puente.
All it needs is that very skilful Trump impersonator, Lewis MacLeod, from Dead Ringers to voice it:
The best letter to the editor in today's @TB_Times. pic.twitter.com/E60kou9BXw

I am writing to the Courier about Boris Johnson. There is plenty of scope. He has cancelled his column in the Telegraph, returned a book advance and almost gone into purdah. At the Wembley debate he called for June 23 to be “Independence Day”. Was he calling for a public holiday? In which case where is it? Several predecessors have gone on to be PM, including Anthony Eden at the time of Suez and then got a peerage. Boris has not, so far, given advice to the new mayor of Tokyo on how to run a big city. In Japan he might be asked how he voted on Trident.
Wow, a tremendous tremendous letter by Donald Trump, That’s what he does. He writes the best letters. Very classy letters, that will attract all the top responses.
Agree great letter. But don’t misunderestimate Trump (as we did with George Bush Jnr). Eg, the lasting effect of his so-called veiled death threat on Clinton was to generate publicity for his erroneous claim that she wishes to abolish his supporters’ right to bear arms under the second amendment.
