A good analysis of conference so far…

… is to be found over on Left Foot Forward: Party democracy alive and kicking at Lib Dem conference. I don’t agree with all of it – such as the use of “indefensible” 🙂 – but it’s a good post that shows an understanding of how parties work and makes good use of details of what has happened at conference.

The quip about the Guardian is curious. Can they really be unaware of their strong anti-Lib-Dem bias?

If someone is accusing someone else of being “a spreader of misinformation and lies,” isn’t it reasonable to expect them to be able to point to at least one factually inaccurate statement?

But perhaps the party has worked itself up into such a state of defensive paranoia now that anyone who’s critical of coalition policy is going to find themselves on the receiving end of this kind of attack.
