Liberal Democrat Job Watch – 10 November 2013

Fancy working for the Liberal Democrats? There’s a variety of jobs on offer over at the W4MP website. Here’s a summary.

Closing soon

If you fancy getting stuck in to the party’s digital projects, based at LDHQ in Westminster, you’ll have to act quickly as this job for a Digital Operations Manager closes tomorrow.

These are the skills you’ll need:

• Experience of supporting stakeholders with varying technical knowledge.
• Experience of relationships with external suppliers.
• Ability to provide IT support including installing equipment and diagnosing problems.
• Sympathy with the aims and values of the Liberal Democrats is essential.

And if you get the job, you’ll have a new member of staff to manage, as the party’s also seeking a Digital Support Officer:

The Liberal Democrats are looking for a Digital Support Officer to provide on-site and remote coaching and support for Liberal Democrat seats and Parliamentary offices using the Liberal Democrats’ suite of online campaign tools, and to help support a wider range of seats on a reactive basis.

That job closes on Friday.

Call Centre

Also in London, staff are sought for the party’s calling operation. The deadline for this is a bit further away – 23 December.

We’re looking for experienced telephony agents who thrive in a target driven environment. This is a rewarding role – you’ll be speaking directly with donors, members and voters. More importantly, your hard work will be actively helping the Party achieve numerous targets in the lead up to the 2015 General Election and beyond.

 Further afield

(but not that far) Tom Brake MP is looking for a caseworker but only until March 2013. The deadline is Wednesday for someone who is:

a hard-working, methodical, patient and tactful individual who is able to work as part of a team but is also self-motivated. Enthusiasm and a sense of humour are essential as are well developed office skills.
