Best response I’ve seen has been Don Liberali’s…
Any comment on Paddick current polling at around 7%?
Only that not even the most ardent Labour or Tory voter could possibly look at real election results in London and take that figure seriously.
Aside from anything else, Ken has been mayor for eight years, Boris is a TV celebrity and regular fixture in the tabloids whereas Brian was only selected in November and launched his campaign yesterday – name recognition alone means they will be polling better than him at this point.
Quite – and that poll was taken shortly after he was selected, and didn’t name the parties the candidates are standing for.
Is anyone else depressed that BBC London News last night (10.30pm) made no mention whatsoever of our campaign launch, while prominently featuring Boris Johnson advocating what is also one of our policies (abolishing the Western Extension) as if it were something new and original…?
Brian Paddick said tonight on the BBC that Freedom Pass Holders (I am one) can be seen queuing at barriers at 9.30am waiting to get on the tube. Get it right Paddick. Those people are not Freedom Pass Holders as their time starts at 9am. The people you are seeing are week /day pass holders that start at 9.30am. I am not voting for you anyway. You have lost my vote because of your stance on this.
