Dear god, that Brexit Party candidate looks like he’s swallowed a wasp!

Being a retired police chief superintendent at 2:30 in the morning is a serious matter, Chris.

  • I think the Brexit guy probably stood because he thought he might win. Retired police chiefs don’t tend to stand just to ‘fly the flag’. His expression there is the same as he had all night (on TV at least).
Pic 2 is quite funny to see, as those of us watching on SkyNews were treated to the sight of this group repeatedly trying to get this picture. The presenter was interviewing some professor or pundit, and as he babbled away the TV cameras were fixed on a close-up of this group of happy LibDems repeatedly shouting Hooray!, and then re-grouping to do it again as someone took the photos. Nice to see they got a good one!

Good grief, those are big diamonds! Did the Welsh Party hire a low loader to carry them?

I really got a bit concerned about Ed Davey. If he had opened his mouth any wider to cheer, his jaw could have become unhinged. Great pics and a great night. Thanks.
