Sarah Olney MP takes her seat in Parliament

Here is the footage of Sarah as she is sworn in as a Member of Parliament.


She was greeted by a crowd of Lib Dems before she entered the Palace of Westminster.

    I didn’t really expect to be so moved.
    Well done Sarah!
    It was a privilege to come and work for your election, at any rate for one beautiful day.
    Lovely, too, to see David Steel right at the front of the crowd cheering you in today, and thus linking your success to his (and our) freezing cold campaign in the Borders half a century ago, similarly triumphing against the odds, and the pundits, and above all the Tories.
