Sunday at Conference: What’s on?

So what’s on at Conference today? You can find full details in the agenda here. Don’t forget about the Lib Dem Conf app too – available on your app store.

If, like me, you are stuck at home, you can watch all the main hall action live here.

One of the highlights is Ed’s question and answer session. He’s generally very good at these, better I would say than his big keynote speech.

There’s a keynote speech from Munira Wilson.

There are big policy debates on the NHS and national parks and a discussion on our policy in the future.

Here’s how the day unfolds:

09.00-09.30 F16 Policy motion: National Nature Parks

09.30-10.25 F17 Policy motion: Our Plan to Save The NHS< 10.25-11.05 F18 Topical issue discussion 11.05-11.20 F19 Speech: Munira Wilson MP Lunch break and fringe

14.10-15.00 F20 Question and answer session: Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Ed Davey MP

15.00-16.40 F21 Consultative session: Leading the Way – Liberal Democrat policy direction in the years ahead

16.40-16.50 F22 Business motion: Membership Subscription and Federal Levy< 16.50-18.00 F23 Report: Federal Board F24 Report: Campaign for Gender Balance F25 Report: Federal Communications and Elections Committee F26 Report: Federal International Relations Committee F27 Report: Federal Council F28 Report: Federal Appeals Panel Among the delights of the fringe, there's the Falklands Islands meeting which new MP Al Pinkerton wrote about for us here.

Dignity in Dying have a discussion on assisted dying, the last great liberal reform at lunchtime.

RNIB have a Conference Quiz in the early evening and later on the Lib Dem Campaign for Racial Equality discusses the progress made in the 6 years since the Alderdice Review. Rod Lynch wrote about that for us here.

Details of all fringe and training are in the Directory here.

Whatever you end up doing, enjoy your Sunday!
