Take part in the Lib Dems’ online health policy Q&A this Tuesday

An email reaches The Voice from party chief exec M’Lord Chris Rennard, intended for all Lib Dem members, which we’re sure he wouldn’t mind us further publicising…

Dear The Voice,

The party’s spring conference will see a major debate on a set of new health policy proposals, which were published by the party’s health policy working group in January.

Norman Lamb, our Shadow Secretary of State for Health, will be taking part in an online discussion next Tuesday to enable members to raise any questions ahead of the conference debate.

You can read about the proposals, and also get a copy of the full policy paper here.

The online question and answer session will take place on Tuesday, 5 February, at 7:00 – 8:30 pm at http://forum.libdems.org.uk and you can post up questions in advance if you wish.

Norman will be sitting at a computer during the full ninety minutes, responding to questions – speed of his typing permitting !

In order to log in you will need to be a currently paid-up member of the party and have a Liberal Democrats Account (LDA) username and password. The LDA system is used across a range of other party sites, such as the members’ website and our online petition tool.

If you don’t have an LDA, you can get one now here.

If you can’t make it on Tuesday to take part yourself, you’ll be able to read the transcript afterwards on the same site.

Best wishes,

Chris Rennard
Chief Executive – Liberal Democrats

P.S. We now have two new policy consultations up – on globalisation and on security.

Just an enquiry: Why is Chris Renard fronting the policy proposal? Should that not be Nick Clegg?

The last I recall, he is the chief executive and head of campaigns?

Is he now the Leader as well?

Erm? All he did was send an email about an online Q&A. Methinks the lady doth protest too much . . .

I was not protesting. Only asking a casual enquiry!

    Methinks you are too sensitive

    Yeah, whatever.
