Take your team to the next level

Leeds NW at KickstartFor decades, ALDC have delivered unparalleled weekend of training at their Kickstart weekends giving local campaign teams the opportunity to build and develop.

In this uncertain political climate it is vital that local campaigners get the skills they need to fight on the ground and respond to local residents as effectively as possible.

Kickstart pulls together the top trainers from around the Country delivering a weekend of mentoring sessions and training, allowing teams to go home with a plan for winning their seat next time.

Kickstart is a packed residential weekend aimed at Lib Dem campaigners:

  • 20 different training sessions
  • work in your groups with an experienced campaign mentor to develop your campaign plan
  • speakers and time to discuss and hear about party strategy and ideas.

This is also an ideal opportunity for newer members to get an intensive introduction into campaigning and be shown some of the best ideas and tips for getting started and for more experienced members to brush up on their skills and hear about the latest techniques and how they are working on the ground.

More than anything it is an opportunity to meet with like minded Lib Dems who want to campaign hard to get the best deal for their community.

This year, we are holding two Kickstart events, the first targeted at seats with elections in 2016. You will get tailored, professional advice for your campaign.

G8 is kindly subsidised by the G8 Fund so prices start at a very affordable £80 (shared room) £100 single room (full board for the whole weekend). There subsidised places are limited and available on a ‘first come first served basis’. If you can bring or send a team please do book now to take advantage of these before they are gone.
