You may have seen some of the news coverage about the latest infighting in the Tories following the attack on David Cameron by Ali Miraj, their 2005 general election candidate in Watford.
But if you went looking on the internet to find out more about him this morning, you’d find that his website, www.alimiraj.com is “temporarily closed”. Good thing then that at least one of his previous blog postings on the subject of how the Tories behave is still avaiable elsewhere, courtesy of Pickled Politics.
UPDATE: There a good piece about Ali Miraj over on Eaten by Missionaries, whose author (Iain Sharpe) is a Watford Liberal Democrat.

Well apparently he was in Cameron’s office not long ago asking for a peerage 🙂

Or to see how it changed over time… http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.alimiraj.com/
It reminds me of John Cleese, playing the part of a budding architect, begging Graham Chapman: “Please, can I join the Masons?”
