It’s been a while since we last caught up with the best of Lib Dem Voice, so here is a whistlestop tour of the last four weeks:
Some of the most viewed stories (according to Google Analytics):
Charlie Gordon MSP’s expenses
Is Progressive London a front for Ken?
Former members of the SDP – are there more in the Tories than the Lib Dems?
Stephen Tall’s excellent “25 random things about the Lib Dems”
The stories you commented on the most:
Was Chris Huhne right to say Geert Wilders should be banned from the UK?
Social Liberal Forum launched
Fighting the Tory education privatisation proposals
Clegg to set out post-election demands
“You said…”
In our polls, we asked:
Should Vince become Gordon’s chancellor? you said… No!
Was the BBC right to ban Carol Thatcher? you said… no!
What’s the liberal response to immigration? you said… have managed immigration
And there’s still time to answer our question on bonuses for bankers.
Our MPs said…
Guest contributors from our parliamentary parties included
My Priorities by David Howarth MP
Elect the Lords, says Nick Clegg MP
Civil Liberties are vital, according to Lynne Featherstone MP
And Early Days in the Welsh Assembly from Peter Black AM
Our guest writers wrote
About the public
About elephants (and there was a piece BY an elephant)
About the strikes – twice
About the Morecombe Bay tragedy anniversary
About the crisis in Darfur
About ghastly jargon
About the recession
About economics
We saw a remarkable achievement for the Lib Dems and for internet campaigners, notably at Mysociety, in getting a terrible idea to hide MP expenses thrown out – it’s all documented under the tag #MPexpenses.
And finally, we also had some Golden Dozen milestones, first passing 100, then passing our second entire year of tracking the most read Lib Dem blog postings. James Graham’s excellent “Best of Lib Dig” posts which tell us what we’re reading outwith the party entered its tenth week. And the Carnival on Modern Liberty debuted on t’Voice in its third week.

‘outwith’? Now I haven’t heard that word since I was on Orkney…
