Please lose the naff background music though!
It comes across on TV as lightweight and patronising. We seem to have equally dire musak on all our TV broadcasts…

    Folks, I have sinned…

I have come on this site many a time taking the p!$$ out of Liberal Democrat policies..

And I have even, Boycie forgive me, taken the mickey out of the Lib Dems as people who would need a conference to decide which pizza they would serve up at a conference..

I have resorted to the laziest of lazy stereotyping by insinuating that Lib Dems..
    1/ Eat Muesli
    2/ Wear Sandals
3/ Have a dire taste in knitwear..
4/ Can’t decide whether they would get in bed with :-
    a – The Tories
    b – The Labour Party
c – Would swing both ways
d – Remain resolutely celibate no matter what the aphrodisiac of power offered…

But I am now reduced to a feeling of shame, guilt and feeling dirty inside..

The reason is that Nick Clegg has only gone and hit the bloody nail on the head in a short and punchy film about ID cards…

Why can’t other politicians be this hot and horny about such a defining political issue ? Why can’t they be as decisive over what to do about it ? And why can’t they be as incisive about demolishing the arguments other parties are brainwashing us with ??

The real shame is that it appears the Lib Democrats will never win my vote, since they cannot express a similar level of scorn about that other enemy of democracy and personal liberties the European bloody Union.

Still, this is a good start from Nick Clegg, who has gone up MASSIVELY in my estimation just in this one short video.

David Cameron has better start pulling his socks up prontissimo if this boy wonder starts pulling communication capers of this quality..
