Everyone in the UK has at least one election today.
Scotland, Wales, London and Northern Ireland are elected their devolved legislatures, and a mayor in London.
Large parts of England, particularly unitary authorities have local elections.
England & Wales are electing Police & Crime Commissioners.
Liberal Democrat campaigners have been working hard for all these elections.
A year ago, some people said the party was finished. There is still a long way to go to build the Liberal Democrat party that Britain needs today. But in the last 12 months our candidates and campaigners have shown that we are still here.
Good luck everyone! Have a good polling day and a good count!

Just managed to vote! David Pullin for Liberal Democrats in Kew, Southport and Chris Carubia for Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside with second preference to the Conservative candidate.
I didn’t receive a polling card, so I phoned a friend to find out where the polling station was and managed to vote!
Just managed to vote “none of the above” so will be counted as spoilt ballot. No Lib Dem candidate in my ward in Bury borough. However, my octogenarian parents in London, usually one Tory, one Labour, between them gave 1 first preference to Goldsmith, a first and a second preference to Caroline and all the others to the Lib Dem candidates. My mother says she was not confused by the multiple ballots and systems but wonders if that nice Mr Grimond is still in charge.

Initiative , the real hope of true Liberalism !
By the way , re your comments on your own situation , you can pay the party whatever is appropriate for your circumstances , and in a range of ways, if you want to join, just ring HQ and ask for someone to chat to about it in confidence , there should never be a barrier to join us ! It would be good to have you !
Disappointed that the London assembly ballot did not appear to include the lib dems, only following a second look did I spot Caroline Pidgeon’s Lib Dem. I would think others may have missed it all together. Was it deliberate to try and rebrand LD to Caroline Pidgeon’s LD? If so, some grassroot feedback if I may, it was a terrible idea and hope this did not cost the party too many lost votes, you almost lost mine, for two reasons. Firstly, when I really couldn’t locate on the ballot and secondly, when I saw the rebranded LD.
